It would be awesome if it gets off the ground. It looks like it would position the shifter in aprox the same location as stock (only higher so no more extendo-lever) and since the only movement is for/aft it wouldn't be hard to get another shifter boot made up.

I actually owned a unichimp at one stage,sold it on before installing it.



I will say there adaptor harness is a nice piece of kit and could be handy for pcm relocations. It's a shame they backed the dodgyness of the unichimp as there actual hardware was top notch.

Go easy. My ol Unichimp disgraced alot of those so called EDIT cars back in the day. :pandalol:

One thing I did like about my ol Unichimp was the fact that it was far quicker to tune and that I could also tune on the road via a laptop. :nyaah:

That is true, the unichip/xede interrupt methods were quicker to tune than EDIT... bit of a shame that edit can never do the real time tuning. :P

Did the cost of a tune go up between unichip/xede and then the subsequent EDIT?

Yeah.

In the day, we just pay an hourly rate for the dyno.
