Why not just whack a standard cat in there. That should drop the boost a bit wouldn't it? Heres part art one of splitting the housing Thanks for this link. Looks pretty straight fwd on page 4.Think I'll play it safe with this part and run with Jets suggestion. Could do without "Rage mode " if I get alignment out. pj4000 New Member 23 Member For: 10y 4d Gender: Male Location: Central Coast NSW Posted 30/07/16 01:57 AM Share Posted 30/07/16 01:57 AM Its back up and running with the ported housing. Had the workshop swap the housings over.I bench tested the IGW75 with the 5psi Spring fitted. The flap cracks open on 5psi, full length at 10psi. Quick Road test today(too busy for a good test) , gets to 10psi , sits there but spiked to 12psi on the auto gear change from 1st into 2nd at full throttle then it dropped back to 10psi That's enough full pedal till it hits the dyno. What psi is the factory boost cut meant to cut in? pj4000 New Member 23 Member For: 10y 4d Gender: Male Location: Central Coast NSW Posted 21/11/16 06:53 PM Share Posted 21/11/16 06:53 PM Once the rod dropped neatly over the flapper hinge part the rod was then tightened up by 1.5 turns from memory which is about 2mm as suggested. 048oss New Member 12 Member For: 9y 5m 23d Posted 21/11/16 11:47 PM Share Posted 21/11/16 11:47 PM cheers bud. on gate spring mine is controlling not bad but when any solenoid is used its uncontrollerable and just spikes, I may have a little to much preload.
