Hmmm....so if car is locked and I press boot button...it just unlocks it and I still gotta press the little black button under the bootlid garnish and then pull it up?

Stingy Ford...You'd think if you put a boot button on keys; it would at least pop it open a little bit open and then you pull it up the rest of the way.

I am pretty sure that with mine if I press the boot button quick, it unlocks it and allows me to press the button on the boot to open it.

the rest of the car is still locked.

Well maybe I should try and press the button for the boot on the remote and hold it to see what happens.

I have not tried that.

^^^ I tried holding and it makes the indicators flash lol but maybe mine is buggered?

Stupid Ford always adding a feature then taking it away in the next model (I.e. territory rear calipers in BF then removed for MKII onwards, the boot not opening in FG's but apparently for BFMKII, auto up for all windows (cant remember which model had this but I think BF onwards only has auto down for drivers?), and then probably other crap too).

cost cutting at its best FTL
