Typical sales BS. It is more likely that they have some fix for the brake shudder problem and so have turned a negative into a positive and called it an upgrade to the standard brakes! I was told on thursday when getting my first shudder fixed that Oct 03 - cars have a different brake calliper than pre Oct 03 cars. I have a Sept 03 build and it has shudder and needed shims fitted. I was told that they cannot retrofit the 'new' system onto pre Sept cars, but this has to be crap. I cannot for the life of me understand why the shim fix was out in June-ish, but my Sept build car did not have them fitted?Back to stories though, I would be willing to do some comparos with a post Oct build car if anyone on the Central Coast wants to meet up tomorrow or similar...Andrew Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
