Just finishing up a rebuild on my transmission, I'm onto the last snap ring that holds the a and e drums together but can't figure out how it goes back in. There's two locking tabs that the snap ring needs to slide over.

Anyone have any experience with this?

Align the ring so it would be in the correct position when installed, insert the large end then walk the tail around until it seats

Thanks Roley94 and Ralph Wiggam for posting.

I have not rebuilt an auto gearbox, but seeing someone have a go and be successful, and someone else giving help makes it seem more possible that I will do it one day.
