I've already sourced the accessory wires that provide power only when the parkers/lights are on, I'm wanting to try and find the earth circuit that will allow me to adjust the BRIGHTNESS once they're on and also dim with the cluster dimming function. That was all up until I only realised tonight that the autometer gauges use a shared earth for illumination and for the sensor power... D'OH! damo6 Member 85 Member For: 11y 10m 13d Gender: Male Location: brisbane nth Posted 05/02/15 08:48 AM Share Posted 05/02/15 08:48 AM I had mine initially wired into the factory dimmer circuit,my sparky done so not sure what he tapped into but can find out if anyone wants to know but anyway I found the gauge was still too bright because of it being led lit.Demon there is a much easier spot to put the dimmer if you want it out of sight,inside the fuse holder there's a cavity at the top of it where it can be zip tied,it sits facing upward so all you have to do is reach up behind the top of the cavity with two fingers to adjust.
