Heres one for the smart people to decipher:

Yesterday, riding to work, it took me 49 minutes, avg heart rate 154, max 174

Today I thought id have a bit of a go, took me 46 minutes. Avg heart rate 153, max 177.

Identical paths, similar delays.

So I was obviously quicker today, but according to my avg HR I worked nearly as hard as yesterday??? I know theres not much in it lol.

Temperature, did you eat before, same amount of water as yesterday. Beers the night before. Must be pedaling hard to keep the heart rate up there though. Good effort.

Sooooo Optifast is the future of my weight loss and diet! Just mixed up a coffee flavoured one in water and it tastes like f***n iced coffee! Max's can eat a bag of dicks, this stuff actually tastes great! Come at me weight loss!

Cheers for the heads up Brendo! The reason I couldn't stick with Max's before, despite rad results, was that it tastes horrible and made me dry reach. I could happily drink optifast. I'm sold hey, this stuff is awesome!

Had a massive cardio session to relieve some frustration, and I'm doing boot camp in the morning. I'll be monitoring it on my vivo, let's see what sort of HR I can hit....... And by *beep* look out if I haven't lost 200 fricken grams....... You thought MH370 made headlines....bitch please you ain't seen nothing yet!

Day 1 of Optifast for me. So far I'm rather impressed with the taste of the shakes. Coffee tastes like an iced coffee and the strawberry reminds me of nesquick...I can deal with that. Haven't really felt hungry either. I expect I'll struggle a bit more tomorrow, plus squash tonight should be interesting to see how I go for energy and being able to push myself. So far though, I'm looking forward to this. My head's in a much better place than it has been, I've got the right motivation to stick to this and loose weight, I've got all you guys to keep me motivated and honest and now I've got a shake that I actually don't mind the taste of and doesn't make me dry reach...I'm excited! :)

Good job mate.

Well I've always yo-yo'd with my health and weight. Often absorb myself in work and sh*t food until my weight gets bad. change habits get weight back on track. Repeat cycle.

Found out all my chest pains yesterday weren't related to me feeling bad and stress at work. Instead I've gone and had myself a 'silent heart attack'.. whatever the f*ck that means. 29 for f*ck sake!

My blood is too thick and vitamin deficiency has resulted in me not absorbing any further vitamins or iron. Then for f*ck knows what reason the muscle around my heart is going spastic which f*ckS up the rhythm of my heart.

Oddly enough my sh*t food is limited to work hours and my food at home is almost always good as I eat what I expect the little bloke to eat.

Seems due to a bunch of other 'risk factors' (sleep apnea, family history) I'm a prime candidate for this sh*t.

So even only following a partially healthy lifestyle, I've managed to end up as an emergency admission to ED.

sh*t's gonna have to change. And fast.

Already been told it could be weeks before I'm allowed anything over light duties, months before I can swing a golf club. My exercise is gentle walking only and I can't even lift up my boy.

In the meantime I'm on a steady diet of oxy-something-awesome to keep the pain under control and blood thinners and drips.

So yeah. Walking around enjoying having my boy at his first town show this morning. Flat on my back at lunch.

When I get out. sh*t's gonna change.

sh*t man, that's full on!

Rest up dude, and definitely a big wake-up eh?

I had a letter from my doctor saying I needed to book a follow-up appointment as my blood results showed some abnormalities...hoping it's nothing new from my previous results...find out next Friday I guess...

Not good news lads.

Both young enough with the right mental attitude to determine your outcomes and rectify.

Still sux though when you first discover you are not actually bullet proof.

All the best stripes. Hopefully it's just a count that is a little bit out.

I'm currently pissed because I'm 92kg and 6'4". Not an unreasonable weight for my height and build.
