So does the unnecessary weight your carrying. Diet, stretching and light exercise. As the weight disappears hopefully exercise becomes less painful and easier. Yes mate slow and steady.

Will take a bit longer than you though Kimbo. I'm not setting a date at this stage though, as I'm more focusing on my fitness and health at present, weight loss is just a bonus. Would ideally like to be at 20-25% by the end of the year though. See how we go. Keep reminding myself that this isn't a diet, it's a lifestyle change.

Being realistic looking at those pictures.. I think 20% is kidding myself and 30 just a bit beyond what I am.. I was 13% back when I first got married. But I don't know how accurate the body fat % scales are to tell the truth.. But the 15% picture seems about right.. I'd truthfully be happy with 20%.. If your comfortable start with starting point your goal and how you plan to get there. It helps to write it out. Making it public is scary. But the reasoning is people will encourage you and make you more accountable.Keep them attainable and go in chunks. Making it public is scary. But the reasoning is people will encourage you and make you more accountable.Keep them attainable and go in chunks.Starting point was around 120kgs and probably around 37-38%. Goal is 75-80kgs (I'm only 176cm tall) and 12-15%. Main short term goal is to get my blood pressure to normal levels and also continue working on my mental health, as that's most definitely part and parcel. Hoping to lose 0.5-1kg a week steadily until at my goal. Am eating much healthier, but still allowing myself to have something if I want it so as to not make it feel like a diet but rather a lifestyle change and something that I'm happy to stick to and maintain not only until I reach my goal, but beyond that also. At this stage I'm just working on 5kg increments and settings those as my short-mid term challenges/goals. That way it's less scary looking at the scales thinking I still need to loose 35-40kgs, rather only a few kgs to get to the next milestone. My attitude and motivation is vastly different now though, and I think this is contributing to this not feeling hard and being something I'm actually enjoying and am so stoked with the results of my fitness so far I've noticed with my squash. My mate did it last year and lost 14kgs and got ripped as fark. I really need to do this. Im keen to sign up. Need to lose the beer gut. Gone from 114.35 and this morning I was 99.75kgs. 90 kgs would be good but 85 would be better.
