lol Im on my second Vivosmart, and my screen has just started mucking up. Looks like the screen is on a bit of an angle compared to the band, and very occasionally the LED display looses some pixels. Thinking about heading back to Garmin AUS at Eastern Creek and having a chat to them - but the unit still works as it should, its only cosmetic. The app still works fine, and it still vibrates at me when ive been sitting around too long.

Nitro, do you have a shopfront?

Seems you are having the same dead pixel issue everyone gets...

I'm the sales manager at HN Penrith computers dept. Where you buy yours from? Just take it back there for exchange or refund and come buy from me hehe :)

Do you have anything to do with the Polar stuff? And if so, when are you guys getting the A360? I like the idea of that one, except for not having 24/7 HR monitoring (not necessarily such a bad thing though, as means you could have it fitting looser during the day) but I'm still thinking it might be a little bit big to wear as well as my watch. With respects to a nicely styled fitness band the Fossil Q Reveler looks really nice. You could easily wear that without looking like you're actually wearing a fitness tracker, although it only tracks steps, calories and distance and doesn't have the ability to connect to a HR strap or track activities...which is a bit of a shame.

Yeah, I'd say 100kg is a much more realistic weight for your height haha. Yep, last 5-10kgs are definitely the hardest!

I was syncing mine with my Galaxy S5, had SO MUCH drama with it, it never synced properly and always had to try sync a few times after saving an activity to actually get it to sync from the device to my phone.

No worries mate, that'll be great actually. Be good to know how much money I could talk them down :)

No we don't stock polar anymore, really hard company for returns from stores, I know we are working on them so things might change but some company's are just A holes to deal with for returns. Yeah I've seen the fossils online but haven't seen them in Australia, look really simple which can be great for end users, just not sure about after sales support in Aus.

Not probs, always willing to help forum members when I can. ;)

I originally bought mine from Rebel Sports Bankstown, but exchanged it at Garmin HQ at Eastern Creek. So no receipt....... If I have any more troubles with it, ill just left shoulder it and come see you. But as I sit here now, its vibrating away at me letting me know ive been sitting still too long, it logged my session at the gym last night no worries, its holding charge well, so touch wood it'll still chug along.

Appreciate the offer! I'll keep you in mind
