Have not seen one in person yet. I like the front, though the factory DRLs make me uneasy about my halos ("oh he wants to pretend he's got an FGX" is worse than "oh we wants a BMW" hahaha). The rear I still spew over badge placement. I think the rear lights are growing on me especially after seeing pics of them lit up in an undercover car park.

Would I buy one if I was in the position...V8 perhaps. Would prefer a Miami GT though. Turbo...I'd probably prefer a BFII F6. Still my favourite shape Falcon since the XB Coupe. B series FPVs are hard and aggressive, but still sleek. FG got too fat in the wheel arches and rear for my money.

I actually like the look of the new falcon ,first time I came across one I thought it was a toyota . I like the interior ,seats . I think its not that bad .some nice wheels and it would look real smart . I am not for lots of gadgets ,I just like a plain car . all I want is a temp -fuel - oil -and a rev gauge . do not even need a boost one as I never look at it anyhow . I would be happy with just the essentials like the good old days when the GT falcons were build (has to have air con and a stereo of corse ) I just want a car that I can drive and be comfortable in .

this may be plain but it is functional .when you drive your car does it mater that you have carpet in your clove box ? all I look at is the road and the dash cluster, and use the up and down volume buttons on the steering wheel . And when I am at my destination I do not watch a video first and then get out off my car .it is all just things that I do not look at a car when I buy it . the most important thing to me is that I can sit in the correct driver position .

would love to have some new FG XR 6 seats (have one ,driver side in black ) still have to find the passenger side one lol

I may not use my semi automatic 333 rifle all the time but its nice to know its there when I want it..... A bit like "features" in a car, we all owned an old bucket, yes it "basically' does everything a new car will so why buy anything at all just keep making HQ kingswoods and XF falcons ..... We have moved on like it or not, some cars just struggle to keep up when it comes to this.

FG-X would be a good up grade from an old BA xt yeh for sure but if u owned its brother (FG) its a bit hard to justify buying the near same thing ..... AGAIN

Much nicer going from my BA XR6T to the FGF6 sure but ford needed to bring more to the car for the FGx

Always as a positive though what an amazing driveline selection to be seen in a new ford !

Exactly this. The FGX isn't a big enough change from the FG, add to that I think the FG is the best looking Falcon ever made and it was never going to sell me. When I moved from BA to BF it was very much the same... the cars were too similar to keep my interest for long and didn't really feel like a 'new' car. At least moving to the FG felt like something new. For current FG owners I just don't see the move to FGX all that attractive unless you're completely sold on the looks or really want 'the last Falcon'.

I was looking at some audi's but iirc the A5 was a 2 or 2.2 ltr 4banger , that aside very nice vehicle

Looks like its a common theme now moving onto better packages...... Totally sympathise playerz

The '5' series Audi's come in about six or eight different engine/transmission configurations, one of which is the 2.0 turbo that I opted for. On paper the numbers don't seem all that impressive but to drive, the car 'feels' surprisingly capable. The quattro and 7 speed dual clutch definitely help. I wouldn't consider it quick by any stretch but realistically you don't buy one of these if you're chasing horsepower.

Is there much mods like Turbo upgrade kits to those available to make them fast?

Depends what you consider fast, but yes from what I understand there seems to be the usual assortment of turbo kits, ECU upgrades, exhausts, etc. available. Have heard that they can be tuned to 500-600awhp but my guess is the engine would be within an inch of its life to achieve that.
