Lol good work gunna,never,get,it,right .....

I actually had my last F6 for 4 years u muppet

Anywhoo been really enjoying my new car very much, some of the little things are popping up and well what do I have to say

Some stand out little things are

LED lights in the door handle

Distance to empty, then the my link showing me the closest servos and at the hit of a button linking it to the sat nav for directions !

A lock on the fuel filler lid but no buttons just "press to open" like the FG had

Boot open that actually pops the boot and raises it to the 1/2 way up spot

Heads up display showing the stats but then on the side what the actual sign posted speed is

Reverse camera quality and 1:1 vision in regards nothing is "magnified" also when you are in reverse and a car is coming it can show you from what direction its coming on the screen with a red arrow nearly before the car is in screen view !

This is the the best by far ... Ready.... Auto down shift throttle blip and very fast to suit a quick rate of down shift coming in fast to a roundabout... Love it

Carpet finish in the glove box is a nice little touch also

Really happy so far

All great features, mine and stripes has exactly the same. I tend to find something new the car can do each week. I like that the car will hold on a hill no foot on brake or accelerator. And that with the park brake on , just accelerate and drive off and it turns off by itself.

Good stuff jet

The fg and ve were on par with each other (I reckon the fg was better) but the fgx does seem lacking

Can't wait to see this thing boosted

I completely agree matty the VE and FG were par with the FG easy taking the cake just for the raw power options but without a doubt the VF HSV ( at least ) is alot of car for the money

I read somewhere that hill start is on the VF but id say obviously manual only kimbo !

Another neat thing is the car "seems" adaptive in many ways ie the cruise setting has worked out that I at least use it once per drive so its switched its self to " normally on " so all I have to do is hit resume and its away vs manually turning cruise on then selecting speed

Fancy little stuff it has, also noticed it has a good size factory AIR-AIR transcooler up front

The electronic steering and being "fully calibration equiped" is nice

And those big comfy HSV seats are soooo nice

Power side of things are what I expected, not awesome but not lacking either id honestly say it would be on par with a B series turbo at ~260rwkw mark, enough to scramble the tyres but not light up to full smoke

Cant be happier to drive a less powerful car but just sound nice and go nice, still sounds crazy to me also :/

Had to go to harvey norman took a pik

Jet, can you throw up a pic of the transcooler. showing roughly where it is and how its mounted.

PS- Those wheels get uglier every time I see them.

Yeh its front passenger from about 3 inches down from top of radiator and goes to nearly bottom of rad and about 1/3 the width of the radiator

Nice fittings and mounting brackets

Tots agree with the wheels, been manic lately but wheels, tint, springs very soon

How good is the throttle blip on downshifts! Particularly cool when using the paddles. I was reading up last night and MY15 R8 is supposed to have paddles JET...so not sure what your dealer was up to there...

Needs new wheels and low I reckon. Still trying to make my mind up about the spoiler though...

Looks tough though man, gotta be happy with it!

No trans cooler for me, lame :(

Things I would like from your car; HSV seats, trans cooler, AP brakes, LS3.

Yeh from what I got from its a MY14 fitst reg will be MY15 so yeh that's all I can work from it

Paddle kit is $300 so if I want them ill grab em but so far not to fussed

Wheels are just sooo crap but gotta hand it to them for having stagger offset from factory 8.5 F and 9.5 R, still horrendous no matter what though

Brakes are soooo good really nice and pull up the bus instantly

Do u have the elec steer stripey ?

Ah ok, I remember you saying it was supposed to be MY15 that's all.

Yeah mines got forged 8.5F and 9R. 9.5 rear would have been nice, then could go up to 255F and 285R once FI...but oh well.

Yeah, the brakes on mine are leagues ahead of the ones that were on my GT, with respects to pedal feel and bite...despite not even having drilled or slotted rotors...

Yeah mines electric steering, pretty sure all VF's are. How many settings do you have for yours? I don't have the dial like yours, I just have normal and then it firms up the steering in competition mode.

Yeh obviously that's why I got a deal but all the same the paddles are the only diff between the MY models

I think that "driver mode" is just HSV

It flips between a few different modes and things change either as a group/pair/or combo fairly nifty stuff
