I to get a bit of Bogan pride

Our Barra is the last engine that is made here, designed here and engineered just for us.

How many other engines can go high 400rwkw on stock internals with a good tuner?

It is hands down the best engine ever tooled in this country, possibly the world(straight six wise...). In my opinion it hands all the other well known/modified I6T's their ass. Edited by barnz

I did say possibly and bmw was the only other straight six I had in mind when I wrote it.

Apples for apples though, where is their forced six? Im not a big bmw buff so it may exist? Bet it doesn't make a wall of torque like the barra does.

Also I think 1300kw is the most a barra has made, god knows how much torque..that's quite the number

Weren't they 4.0L 8 cyls for a bit there between the NA 6 and twin 6?
