First post here but have been reading for a while now. I have a G6ET and, well, the topic title says it all really. While tightening the bolt that holds the idler pulley (I had changed pulleys and belt) I applied too much torque and the bolt snapped off. Standing there trying to undo time didn't work, so I thought I'd post here. The problem is that about one third of the thread came out leaving two thirds buried deep in the hole.Anyone done this and got out of jail? any ideas? There's very little room to maneuver in there and I can't see how to even attempt to get this out. Drilling it out looks like it would be near impossible.Yours on foot for the near future,DevEdit: changed Title to fit forum view and added emoticon. Bugger. I read somewhere else (http://wwwef.fordforums.com.au/vbportal/forums/showthread.php?p=4205459) that removal of the timing cover might be the easiest way, but hope springs eternal. $$$$s I expect. Thanks for replying Ralph. Mobile too! Thanks again Ralph - you may have just saved me a LOT of money and a week on buses (I live in a rural area of Brisbane where the buses turn up and stop for you if the wind blows just right and you hold out your arm to flag them down at the perfect angle).Best,Dev.
