Lots of people say good stuff about Nitto NT05

As long as you don't drive too much in the rain. Not too bad when they are new but once they wear down a bit they are dangerous . Mainly if driving in 80k to 110kmh zones, a simple lane change and you start going sideways.

I'm running invos at the moment , good tyre for the price . They do grip a lot better when the temperature is above 20°c . But most tyres I've used don't grip too well until you get a bit of heat into them.

Can get michelin pilot super sports for $400 a tyre, they are what they use on the high end ferraris and even complete 24 hour lemons race in them. They average 4800 kms per tyre on the race with average speeds above 130kph.

That is more than double the performance I am getting out of the 123S, a lot of coin for a tyre but if they last that long I think they might be worth it (more than double the life). Anyone else used the really high end tyres eg continental sport contact 5 etc? They all run about $600 RRP in a 265x35x18 but can get them for $400 if you shop around.

I just checked and I am down to the tread wear marker already after only 1800 kms and not 1 burnout, just not good enough.

I run Goodyear EF1A2's...paid 480 fitted each (around $550 tyre RRP)...265 35 18

Very good grip in wet. Gripped pretty good when new in dry....im at around 15000kms or so...probably more than 50% tyre life left (last time I checked)...they are starting to spin a little easier now though

But stock FG XR6T power and only thrash it occasionally

Don't know how all you guys can justify tyres to only last 5000-10000kms....bunch of rich blokes on here :P

I guess that's what happens when you get power and w/e duties lol

It is because we think we are rich so we make a taxi have as much power as a ferrari then want it to grip lol!

I don't think there is any way to get grip with 340kw at the treads and also get 15,000 kms out of a tyre... EVEN if you spend $500 a corner.
