I don't know why some people just insist on bolting on a new hand grenade every 12/24 months.

Why would you when it doesn't come down to wear and tear, but down to luck of the draw.

we have not seen a single milkshaked one through our shop, have seen one that leaked but lucky for the owner it was an external leak.

I honestly believed the failure rate would be less than 2%, so I started a Poll on AFF, it is currently at 11.46% failure rate although I still think this is a bit high as with most things, those that have had issues are likely to speak up while many that have not will not say anything.

We put a PWR unit on my wifes G6ET the week it was out of warranty, I will be purchasing a XR6T shortly and have already got a PWR cooler sitting under my desk to fit immediately.

Fair call Mick. The last thing anyone wants to do is create panic. If they weren't so damn expensive to fix you'd probably just roll the dice. Unfortunately, they aren't. The piece of mine you get running the PWR unit is worth the purchase price on its own imo.
