Hahaha holey chit mate 15psi on stall is on the up side there and hence why your busting stuff

As a very "flimsy" rule 8-10 psi with stock driveline is about it at the strip with sticky tryes and good for 1.7's with everything in 1 piece 9 times out of 10 hahaha

Driveline isn't standard. Strengthened flexplate, rebuilt zf gearbox by Monsta Torque - increased stall on torque convertor, capable of handling 750kw, Hardie Spicer Chrome Moly tailshaft, LSD and HD halfshafts.

The ODS HD halfshaft was the shaft that sheared off at the hub. The reason for the breakage could have been that the nut on the halfshaft hadn't been tightened correctly on installation and had come loose. I will explain my reasoning for this. Normally when I jack the rear of the car off the ground, it would be to change the wheels over to the M/T ET Radials. During this process, I leave the handbrake on. While replacing the broken halfshaft, I obviously had to release the handbrake and found by accident that the DS rear wheel wobbled side to side. Initially, I thought it maybe a bearing but on further investigation, I found that the haftshaft was loose. It took 2 full turns on the nut to tighten it up. If the ODS was the same, it could have been the cause of the breakage. The HD halfshafts were installed by an independent workshop. The HD halfshafts do not have a manufacturer marked on them. They were purchased from Prestige Auto Venue, Victoria. I was told they come from the US. The shaft is larger in diameter and the CV joints are stronger. The attached photos show the standard halfshaft compared to the HD halfshaft.

Been there done that bud and yeh there an up grade but dont have nothing on the "DRIVELINE SHOP 1400hp" half shafts

These are slightly better than stock and do not recommend 15psi stall or ull be in the same boat again

Butt Plug have you had issues with your halfshafts and do you have the 1400hp shaft installed in yours? I did price them at one stage but they are not cheap. They would certainly be the way to go but I cannot justify the cost just yet.

I guess you'd have to work out the cost of the cheaper ones by how many you may break on a 15lb launch and add it up to see if they're worth it

The HD halfshafts cost $550 from Prestige Auto. The price of the Driveshaft Shop Fd26 Full Chrome Moly Level 5 Axle/Hub Kit - 1,400hp would cost $2,200 + $367 freight + Import Duty ($400+?)
