Hey guys. I just put in an amp and now I've got a strange set of problems. The gear readout on the dash doesn't show up, the traction control warning light is on and I've got no icc or central locking (the doors lock but now there's no 'beep beep' when I click the button)

I pulled the fuse panel out a bit to look at the wiring but didn't splice in to anything, maybe I just bumped a connector? Not sure so looking for ideas

Sorry just to add to that, the ute starts & runs. Plugged my xcal in to it & the unit won't read the error codes, just says "unable to retrieve codes"

If you pulled the fuse panel out you have clearly disturbed something. On the front of the fuse panel there is a harness wrapped in yellow insulation, the symptoms you described make it sound like that's not connected correctly.

Yeah, I've plugged that one back in, the alarm goes bip bip but then still doesn't bip when I locked it. Thinking maybe I need to reset the computer?

Turns out there's some sort of connector on the back of the unit that interfaces to a connector inbeded in the dash. Needs a good wack to drive it home, plus putting the lower connectors in the correct sequence is important too
