Well, it has come to a point where I am happy to work on the car again.  Let's hope that it lasts.. LOL

With the assistance of some forum members, I have identified a configuration issue with the heater hoses. I think that it is causing the passengers side air con to be warm, so this will be rectified asap. As it will be far easier while the turbo and exhaust manifold is off.  Speaking of which, here is a pic of the exhaust manifold with the new EGT bungs. I sent it and the two rear housings away for ceramic coating  before Christmas. As an afterthought, we have installed another bung on the wastgate pipe, prior to the gate. We have done this, with the intention of monitoring back pressure during tuning. This will assist us to identify the limits of the exhaust sizes housing that I have. I will likely get a tune done to match each, so that I can change the output and characteristics of the setup. I just wish that I had installed it prior to sending it to be coated...  It has been welded internally, so damage to the ceramics is negligible. I must admit, that it is far more attractive than it previously was...

I have also decided that the car will be heading Harvey Bay for its tune, as it is the closest hub dyno available.

More updates soon..

Well, it took me around and hour to get the manifold back on and the wastegate connected. The turbo should be back on tomorrow, when I get the new bolts.

In other news, I have ordered a set of 365 mm rotors and hats. So the brembo's will be fitted soon.. I will have to make some spacers for the  mounting brackets, as these rotors sit around 15 mm further inboard than the traditional brembo items. There appears to be a two week delay on the hats, so I will post some pics when they arrive.
