Hi Luke, is there any chance that you could give me a rundown on the process and what is needed to perform  the task this way?

What EFF said, of if you want to get fancy either buy a proper pressure bleeder ie this or similar-

Basically you use shop air (at low pressure) or a hand pump to pressurise the reservoir then force fluid up from the bottom.

 

Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuut, knowing the CSC has been apart Personally I would drop the box and bench bleed the CSC. Or a least pull the box back far enough that you can bench bleed it in situ.

 

By bench bleed I mean cycle it by hand and allow it to draw fluid through it.

Unfortunately I have been very busy working, trying to get some coin back in the bank. I had around 4 months off at the start of the year and between that and the build, it had drained a lot from the account.

 

The car literally hasn't moved since the broken flywheel bolt, and I have not attempted to fix the air lock in the CSC. I will be finished this job in a fortnight, so I'll give it a crack then. :D

Know how you feal .the money side is hitting me hard as I am also paying for hz parts .but the time is the hardest to find ,I am struggling big time with it .I am afraid that I have assembled stff wrong or that I have leaks in the lines etc . More worried that stuff will fail and that I have to re do some of my work .I have tryed so hard but I know that some of it could have been done better only after I done them I realised that I could have done better .to late now bugger . All the best with sorting the rest out to get it running

All of your feelings are a part of the process. I too had the misconception that it was going to be fun. How wrong I was... Lol...

 

You will always have a few teething problem when you get first start up. I found a few loose fittings and a few other niggles. they are to be expected with a substantial build. Especially when you have such intermittent schedules for working on the car. It's hard to start back where you left off, as what you think that you did and reality are sometimes two very different things. 

 

I finished the last job. Had a week off and still didn't touch the car. then again, I haven't done any carbon stuff either....  Bloody slack hey !!!
