From memory the Hypertune manifold was around $2,900 and has a shorter runner length and is little less plenum volume. Apparently this helps give a beefier mid range over the Hypertune.

You are correct in saying that the Hypertune manifold does have two variants of runner sizing. When I spoke to them they had not manufactured a big port version and that the manifold the Spiro was running was the smaller of the two. I know that Spiro had a LOT of porting and I therefore assumed that using the larger runners would be of little gain or problematic with maintaining a good port shape.

The nitto hyper tune collaboration cost $2345 - this was the cnc'd runners etc.

Runners & fuel rail by themselves (no chamber) cost $1400

Hi guy.....I'll give you some interest :P

Cars coming along very nicely ;) pretty cool you are one of the first with that new plaz plenum

Am I right in assuming you are leaving the rocker cover til last or later on? You gunna get it polished? And then a nizpoo garnish?

What tyres and size are you thinking of running? I think I remember some mod about moving rear control blade or something....then running 305s :wwww:

Very observant. The rocker cover had the breathers enlarged and raised to suit my Nizpro garnish. Unfortunately, they were set a little high for my liking and I think that they would rub badly on the new hood lining. These will be modified soon and the civet will be sent for chroming. I would love to do the Nizpro garnish also, but I don't think that the finish would be of a suitable standard due to the texture of the casting. I also fell that the finish around the raised lettering would also be problematic. So it will be painted instead.

Thanks for the feedback on the plenums fellas. Has anyone actually flow tested these with a specialist (versus BA, FG and every other variant) or is there some calculation to determine and outcome with flow, pressure, scavaging and blah blah blah input? Or dowejust goon the old N/A figure of longer more torque and shorter more power?

Back on topic....HI PSI, mate you do your own tuning yes with HP Tuners? Do you use a dyno or road tuning mainly then dyno to clarify all is good or just straight up road only?

Cheers,

Brett
