^wow that's pretty full on, $2700.

I had spoken to a few turbo shops about v-band clamps.

They all tell me they need to see a clamp. A v-band clamp varies where it clamps to the flanges they say. There is a few different brands etc...

Cheers for that Oz. :)

-----------

Don't get me wrong, besides the pin holes in the welds (which - for the price of the thing, really pisses me off) and the cheap as sh!t v-bands (that I have to tighten each month and refer back to my first bracketed comment) it is very quiet when cruising at 60k's around town but (BUT) should I have to do this sort of maintenance to an Exhaust every month and unfortunately this sort of (not so good) workmanship also shows on some of their other products.

Wow that's fair enough then.

Mine was $2100 to my door trade price though.

It has also quitened down now and is not loud whatsoever.

I had a few struggles with fitment at the beginning but it's all sorted now.

My car has only done 1000km in 3 months so I can't comment if the v-bands will come loose.

I totally agree with you at that kind of pricing a full custom setup could be done. I know Chris at Best a Mufflers, he's done my cars before. I did ask him what would be the ultimate exhaust for one of these cars, he said a modified Xforce would be the go. This was after he had seen my Niz setup.

Overall though, I have no regrets in getting the Nizpro exhaust and think it sounds spot on.

Did Chris from Best Muffler, say what he would customize on the xforce system?

The other option I was thinking of was to get the twin 3inch xforce cat back that they make for the s/c v8 . And use my 4inch dump that I have on the car already and run a twin cat setup but I'm not sure what kind of note it would produce.?

Mine is just mild steel and its great.

Bendoco help me out here. What did uou think of the sound.

Sorry....missed the post.

Yeah the mild steal Xforce 4" - once it's carboned up a bit - has quite a deep very nice note while cruising and when you stand on it, it wouldn't be any louder than my nizpoo I don't think.

No sorry mate. We didn't get that far into it.

But I would 100% recommend him to anyone in Sydney for exhaust fitting and fabrication.

And it's only $1495 for the stainless cat back system . It's 4inch where it goes over near the diff but the rest of the system is twin 3inch. I would just need to get it modified to fit my 4inch dump plus twin cats
