The F6 (GT3582) turbo will not spool faster than your gtx. If you want to match the gt3576 down low look at the borg warner efr range. Very expensive though.

The other option for faster spool is using a smaller exhaust housing, but will compromise your top end power

Seaton,

Let me have a cry on your shoulder mate!! I can't copy and paste info into thread replies such as this one. Nor am I able to upload things such as dyno charts.

I will PM an email address to you so you can send me an email reply. I will then send dyno charts as email attachments. OK?

Also, thanks to Sixman for the info on the smaller turbo housing on the GTX3576. But this makes more questions: Does a GTX3576 with a smaller housing have more top end than the factory turbo, or will the smaller housing take me straight back to GT3576 performance? If I fit a smaller housing on the GTX3576, will the bottom end grunt equal the factory GT3576?

Thanks guys.

Sixman,

Just thinking about your suggestion. I bought a GTX3576 centre from MGQ at Wetherill Park Sydney for around $1500 and Spiro fitted it to my factory housing. I guess that means I am already running the smaller housing??

Sounds like he has milled out the .50 cover to fit the GTX CHRA matted to your 1.06 Ford rear.

Airspeed out the compressor cover will be slightly faster at all rpm so there would be a gain....how much who knows on your car.....its not a "must do mod" by any means though as the .60 cover the GTX3576 comes with is matched well.

So this means PAH has a GT3576 milled to fit a GTX3576 centre.

So really it's not a GTX3576 of the shelf, as it would still only have a 3" inlet.

Is this right?

Haha. Now you guys are getting confused.

He has a GTX3576. With the stock exhaust housing.

PAH, this means you have the stock size exhaust housing. Not the smaller 0.82 exhaust housing suggested earlier. :-)

Lol, yes confused.

Was looking at a pictures PAH sent me of this plumbing when I cleaning out my inbox a few nights back.

I remembered he was running crossover and no muffler delete.

This where I had a brain fart thinking crossover was 3", but of course the delete was where it reduces.

So it is 4" inlet.

"Beer someone, bring me beer please?"
