After weeks of researching asking everyone I knew ect ect why the hell is a Plazmaman FMIC Kit sooooo damn expensive. Answers I got were from Plazmaman themselves was that their ICs are made in Europe that they are the lightest most efficient coolers blah blah blah. When asked to look at 1 they said they dont have none in stock to show me (Ebay where they are advertised are showing they have 2) From friends that have owned sub 8 sec cars told me they've ran chinese and Plazmaman and found no difference what so ever. They may actually flow worse when it comes to big HP applications, 1 friend told me nothing wrong with Chinese IC especially Bar and plate there just a little heavy and on the street "maybe" once they get hot they tend to stay hot but he strickly tows his car to the track does his 1/4 and gets towed home. Another friend told me F$#@ the fmic run a BOC ice box its weight loss of HP and pig bait. *shaking head... Rotary owners* So time money and curiosity Iv decided to buy both. I have not tested both yet as the Plazmaman arrived a couple of hours agopost-80488-0-82380100-1419215615_thumb.jpost-80488-0-15621000-1419215653_thumb.j but to my horror the Plazmaman Tube and Fin Ic is no different what so ever to a $150 Chinese IC!!! The tube and fins protrude just like a water radiator in a car which don't take a rocket scientist to work out it will cause turbulence and heat. It still ways a tonne it has a pretty Plazmaman engraved Tag riveted to it and they have sanded the slight roughness from the inner tank castings. Iv read the fitting instructions and your car will get a heavy defect notice cause you have to cut the lip off the inner bar which is structural. All the silicon hoses ect are fairly simple. guys on this forum have said Chinese ICs split open... seriously?? have you ever looked at the welding of a Chinese IC or a Named brand??? Do you even own a Turbo charged car or you just a keyboard warrior wasting mine and others time. Maybe at 200Psi. So since Iv got a 4' dump and dont care if my TTG blows up shes waaaay over boosting (getting over 20psi). The X4 will give me pretty accurate readings as I will compare the 2... At the moment my $$$ is on the $150 Bar and Plate. Ps the Plazmaman Ic doesn't even have heli coiled mount fittings... that's just sad

Stay tuned

Yeh I've got a plaz kit in my shed waiting to go on and the cooler is light as fck

If the ebay and plaz are the same size and same weight that probably shows you how sh*t the ebay bar and plate one is..

We installed quite a few cooler kits in our time and the plaz was always worth its money, infact for middle to high range stuff I would push it for the quality alone

U do realise looking in an end tank means squat dont u ?
