In other vehicles I have used Helix ultra and ultra extra, full synth, the statements say the oil far exceeds all engines requirements, have had no issues so far. Seems to have all these detergents and stuff to "clean your engine up to 5 times more than other brand oils" or something sounds a bit over the top marketing hype but who really knows?

Yeh, Geelong is where she lives, original (lame) username Mercturbo no longer relates to the F6 so changed it to current also lame. Dagabond may remember me he was an original.

Cheers gents thanks for the replies and comments. 1/2 a tank of Vmax in 3 days ouch.

How is this thing not a cult car? Apart from being a little nose heavy in the turns, this car just makes you smile all the time, the power and torque are incredible, just belts you back in the seat at not even full throttle and good braking with Brembos. At new rrp of $67k odd a little painfull. But a year or 3 old $35k to 45/50k for mark 2 low Kms what can compete? Full size sedan climate leather and the rest, makes me wish I'd bought one years ago.

This is one spur of the moment purchase with no regrets.

It's amazing they are not building these anymore.

Anyway thank you to Ford

The XR6 Turbos are the cult cars because they're cheaper, easier to find and a bit cheaper to repair because certain parts are more common. It's mainly the affordability though, otherwise everyone would be in F6's instead of the standard fare (which still crack).

More or less.
