Might be common for him if he never fixes/identifies the cause...That's my logic too....there are quite a few blokes who work there as advice people....and the 2 I've dealt with are a little obnoxious. The guy the other day started giggling a little bit to himself when I mentioned cleaning hub/torque wrench stuff...and he eventually interrupted me and politely said "mate we've tried everything, all the tricks and there's absolutely nothing that can permanently cure it. My BA has been doing this and we constantly have to machine, blah blah blah..." (But I guarantee he isn't doing it every 5,000kms like I stated to him!). The other dude does information overload to psyche out noobs like me....like going into the history of how things work and explaining processes and taking up hours of your life (no joke, rang them up after speaking to Ford and Matt@RBS trying to suss out the first time this happened) and ended up being on the phone to the guy for 50mins while he trys to explain how rotors work in modern cars and how they used to be different, etc. I rekon 70% of the stuff he says is relevant with the remainder being BS/random information lol Wish I was knowledgeable or had someone like Wiggum there to argue out their BS logic The only reason I keep going back is because they are cheap and have a relatively good rep. I just gotta hope the mechanics who actually perform the work, have a little more sense than the guys trying to sell the services lol sounds like an RDA rotor issue. And no way Marky Marco Mazda Unless I got a dodgy set from factory (maybe the rotor had a little runout or something?)....but I guess if that was true, I should have felt shudder as soon as they were installed the first time? They can't be that bad if Phil and Arronm run them on some of their cars lolI just need to source the issue before even contemplating changing rotors.....if this issue kept happening to T3's then I'd be pissed.Meh.....we shall see how we go this time around....cause if it stuffs up again....I might try different pads....then if it stuffs up again, I'll try different rotors, then if it happens again I'll burn the bloody car to the ground Get the engine mounts and transmission mount checked by a mechanic that knows how to check them. Check the centre bearing as well. Thanks for the tips Phil...might be worth a shot.Vibration is probably not the right word to describe....its as if something is loose or moving around in the suspension. Like the imperfections in roads cause the steering wheel movement and vibrations of the floor area near my feet. And it only happens sometimes....like on perfect smooth roads there's no movement, then back to rough roads its there again. The steering wheel can be wobbled 5-10mm when its in a stationary/forward position. There's also a clunk noise that can be heard when going from road to brick paved road - mainly in front drivers side wheel (almost sounds like it causes the caliper or brake pad to jiggle)..and there also a very intermittent wobble that happens only on occasion during peak hour driving and between 15-30kmh and it causes the car to rock/wobble from left to right....but I can never replicate the wobble when taking mechanics, etc for a test drive.IDK....might have to take it into Pedders again and go in the car with him this time and take him up to freewway speeds.....for now I'll just put up with it until it gets super annoying. At least the shudder is gone for now
