thanks barnz and Bizket , I might change oil on the weekend and see if that will help . but I think I might just start building the new engine for it sooner than I thought .

lol sorry ,it turned out to be the idler pulley . the engine will be out soon . went to powerplay on saturday and the flex plait is very noisy now ,so the box will have to come out . going to get the box looked at the same time (rebuild 5000 klm ago and only 6 month ) but the 3 gear is no good I think . it just does not change hard or fast . will also bite the bullet and get a 2700 -2800 stall as the 60 foot mark is 2.2 seconds . the engine will get pulled down and some better internals fitted .maybe a new turbo ,just no idea which to go for .currently 312 rwkw , but would like reliable 360 -370 rwkw . the BTR 4 speed auto might be send down to Melbourne to get the work done to it (I am from qld caloundra ) so my double garage will be the work shop again . got to have it all back together before powercruise in september .have about $15000 to spend on it including new brakes ,they were absolutely scary to pull the ute up last saturday . even after I just got a complete flush done on them ,he used 5.1 motul oil . had a look and the oil is black again . we traveled about 130 klm on the track on saturday all up ,was a long time but awesome fun

Precise automatics in Beenleigh can do a decent BTR Gunna.
