I've no idea how it will handle around the track, as I've yet to do a track day.Brian

The ride is slightly heavier and stiffer, but it is still very comfortable.

I would recommend this be the very first mod you do. IMO the standard XR ride height is too high for a performance sports car. I used pedders sports ride all round with a adjustable camber kit in the front. PM me for details if you like....About $600ish complete.... Disadvantages: underbody damage. :( If you like scraping the front or rear of your car on kerbs, speed humps and steep driveways, do it.I lowered a car once, only a bit and it's amazing the difference in clearance a small drop can make. I wouldn't do it, but where I live, I need the clearance. :o

Apart from that, I have never scraped the underbody anywhere...Sports Riders sits about 35mm lower than standard....

Posted 07/02/04 04:51 AM Share Posted 07/02/04 04:51 AM What sort of price would we be looking at for a set of herrod springs to the lower the car about 1 inch. Would you need anything besides the springs, I keep seeing about a camber kit. Waht does this do?Geea.

Not sure if it's compulsary or not, or even if it's actually neccessary. Cost is ~$850 fitted.

Not compulsory but a good idea if you dont want uneven wear on your tyres as the lowering will throw the camber out.
