It smashed 18psi tapering off to around 11.I was ok with that Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/89709-what-exhaust-do-i-get/page/2/#findComment-1517020 Share on other sites

Make 350 easyso you reckon the stock dump is fine at the power level? But if your on a budget spend the money on something else. 320KW would be nice budget power level Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/89709-what-exhaust-do-i-get/page/2/#findComment-1517184 Share on other sites

No torque loss or any other myths iv heard off. Barely touch the throttle and she sits on a 100 and pulls up hills with just a touch more throttle. Im not game enough to WOT as its not tunned yet. 1 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/89709-what-exhaust-do-i-get/page/2/#findComment-1517322 Share on other sites

You can get easily 500 rwkw on the exact same system but your rods will let go. I got my system cheaper than what I could on ebay so I got stainless wasnt by choice the exhaust shop only does customs in stainless. Exactly what others have said is true, mild in my opinion gives a nicer note. I worked for a reputable exhaust shop for a short while, every tuner I spoke to said to me the same thing also. Your far better off spending on a 3.5 inch dump from ebay or a 4inch dump from an exhaust shop and buying a cheap high flow cat (or knock your one out) than wasting your money on a bling cat back system. Do you wanna be pig bait with sound and no performance or do you wanna be a sleeper that goes hard. Any system apart from stock will help you. But you seem to be on a budget so its up to you what your after. Save your money for some sticky rear tyres. If you read through all the forums there are guys pulling 1000rwkw on a 3.5" all the way. I bet you any money in the world that they couldnt come close to those numbers if they had a stock cat and dump and had the worlds most expensive cat back system. But yet the other way around they wont be far off the mark. Ebay and fitting it yourself will put more dollars into your pocket. Hope this helps. That's what I found calling around before I did my tune anyway. I definitely want a turbo back system but a lot of people were telling me that 350 awkw is easily achievable with the stock dump. My budget is tight and so far haven't been able to find a system under 1600 or so give or take.
