^^^yeah MattyP .... in car footage of you boosting hard would be awesome :P

Here's my good karma for the day....if a noob like me can do it....I'm sure you won't struggle :P

Noticed yours is tuned already....I'm 95% sure, the bov removal won't do anything bad....but may want to confirm with some of the nerds on here...lol

I have just seen this photo come up on your post mate, dam computer at work doesn't load images on the forum. Thanks heaps, this is a big help. Blocking the 2 holes looks very simple. The vac line may need to be explained to me though :)

Sounds awesome! Do you recommend the billet wheel upgrade? Something I have been thinking about, it would be less cost going down that path rather then a new turbo right?

I have done most supporting mods to go that power, I think id just need to do fuel pumps and turbo intake before going more power. How about your ZF, is that rebuilt?

Standard zf

I'm purposefully running a down on power tune to try and prolong it's life

Twin in tank pumps and a turbo side and a custom hybrid diy turbo and you'll be set

Is the vac line just the plug going into the BOV? you're just bolting it into place at the back of the engine bay?

Sorry bud...been worrying about my own thread and didn't notice this post lol

The line is the vac line which connects into the top of the BOV....if you follow it all the way down, it connects near the back of the engine I think?

I was told that you should block it off...its pretty small hole (like 8mm or so?)....and you can shove a bolt or flat ended screw in there. Don't push it in too violently, as you don't want to damage the end of the line, in case you ever decide to return your car back to stock or to put the BOV back on.

I was lucky and just found some random bolt in my parents garage and it fit perfectly....I bought a tiny clamp for good measure, just to hold it in place and make sure it doesn't fall out.

In terms of the position, I chucked it there cause its out of the way and doesn't really move around there....the bolt I used was a good 5-6cm long, so if I was skilled I should have grinded it down with an angle grinder or whatever....but I just left it there and it sits perfectly between the metal lines of the ABS unit hahaha

I'm a noob; so have NFI what the line does or whether any air comes out of it, etc. Not sure if you can just unplug the whole vac line and block up the hole near the engine? But I just did what I did cause I read it somewhere and it was the easiest way for me :P
