I remember seeing a supercharged 1uz on YouTube and it only made 190rwkw and was pinging

What he didn't understand was that if you run 22psi straight into an engine without a sufficient intercooler you're going to have a bad time

I'm a little bit lost.....in post 1 you said that the tuna recommended the injectors and later on you say he reckons 1000's will fix it.

Gunna ask the question again -- Who tuned it?

Ok guys it's me again with my home user name, so this has been my experience so far with mods to my G6ET, the first tuner I went to promised me the world and delivered fark all, he said with injectors K&N and a custom tune I would get 300+rwkw, at this stage I thought a venom high flow cat would be a good idea as well so after these mods we ran it up on the dyno in Geelong and didn't get much over 240rwkw and boost was lagging until 3000rpm, suspected boost leak so I went and bought a Herrod piping kit, plasmaman throttle body pipe and a Cheap FG F6 intercooler, issues with power and boost still remained so the next step was to replace the waste gate actuator and port the waste gate to eliminate turbo bypass through waste gate, this also did not work so I then got jack of dealing with this *beep* and headed to Melbourne, this is where I gained my 289.5rwkw and this tuner is the one that told me my 750cc injectors were sh*t!! Sorry about the novel but this gives you an idea of my frustration, and I do apologise but I won't name the tuners

Yeah listen

I totally understand that you don't want to name the current tuna....hear that all the time.

I guess it's for the - just in case it HAS to go back there - situation but surely you are not the type of person that would let someone go through what you went through with the first tuner IF you had the ability to help someone from making a mistake that could be costly.....both money wise and emotionally.

Oh and btw.....a standard G6ET will run around 240 at the wheels without mods

The tuner is the most important part of this whole process. If you do it smart it's quiet cheap and easy to get to 11s and 300+

I am in the middle of discussions with the first guy and don't want to fark that up by rubbishing him yet but that's still to come, as for preload the guys that I got my porting done by set it to 11psi just cracked off the seat of the flapper
