thanks guys I am sort of leaning towards the GTX3582r because who knows what I will get up to next with the mods and I would like some room to move if I decide I want more out of the car, I have read some more info on the 3582 and the lag with the standard housing (modified) seems to be the go? Is this possible?

Um a 3540 with a billet wheel like mine will have lag compared to the standard fg turbo however not as much as the gtx3582.

You can get a 61.4mm wheel (3582 wheel) into the standard fg turbo but does require machining however this spools quicker than a standard 3540

Long story short if it's a daily go a gtx3576 and Chuck some corn juice in it every now and again

If it's a weekender than go a turbo like mine or the gtx3582

Thanks Matty, it is a daily so I was seriously considering the gtx3576r over the 82 but the only issue I have was the room to move later on.

I keep asking myself how much power does a man need for the street? I will discuss this with my tuner and see what he thinks, thanks mate

What MattyP and Masda74 said is pretty much on the money, with the advice on the turbos..

The question is not really how much power do u eventually want but how much u have to spend later.. ;)

Anything over 380kw or so isnt doing your box any favours at all..

So theres $5-6K IF u build it b4 it breaks.. and a transcooler and flex plate while your there another $1K..

Add a tailshaft, $1300 IF u do it b4 it breaks.. and your probably gunna wanna do a TruTrac by then too $2K..

Prob a set of billet oil pump gears another $500..

And there ya go u have spent $10K and u havent even unleashed any more power..

Ya can try tick too many boxes with these things at the same time unfort.. cause of the ease and cheapness of power to be made..

Im pretty much where u are and it pays to be a bit on the conservative side IF u dont have a good bank backup.. :D

Wow that certainly puts things into perspective GUN-808, I think I will stick with 350rwkw and just enjoy my daily before it becomes a money pit and a true race car, also the car will run on Shell V power only cos I work for them and get a discount on fuel

If you are running 98 you will need the big turbo for 350. 350 easy with a stock F6 turbo and room to move later. Hey I got 400 on the stock turbo ( waste gate and port done) on 98.

I do P100 gives me more. But is a pain to mix. When I say 400 it was 396 actually.
