just a quick question as I have to make a post anyway to become reactivated into the site lol will installing a electronic boost controller ( disconnecting standard control valve ) effect the computer in anyway my car is currently tuned to 12psi I wanna run 15psi the chick I got from is in no hurry to send me the controller with the 15psi tune it has all the supporting mods for 15 psi just wondering if it needs to be done through the factory computer or u can manually do it with out up setting anything ☺

Sounds dicey..... How are you tuning the computer to run extra boost/fuel?

What are you supporting mods?

You just cant wind up boost and expect the computer to compensate.....

custom dyno tune (multiple of those if you want at different power levels) or nothing! What you're saying sounds extremely dangerous and could easily grenade the engine.

Tune via HP tuners or SCT Xcal to suit whatever mods you've acquired..

Remind her it's worth $0 to anyone else as it's still married to the car and cannot be used on another without setting yours back to factory first! Assuming it's an XCAL device.

Also if it's an XCAL original those cannot be given new tunes any more, nor can an XCAL2 I think? Someone correct me if I'm wrong, it's been a while.
