I was thinking about lightly modding it, probably just a tune, exhaust and injectors (hoping that'll get me close to 270rw)just wondering if it's worth installing those upgrades on the car considering the km's, and also the fact it's a 4 speed BA. would it be worth just holding out for a few years, then getting a bf for the 6 speed zf with ~100,000 kms and modding that? Why are the power figures so low compared to an F6 or FG for minor mods? Only asking cause I simply don't know. We are doing the falcon turbo 6 into a GQ shorty for drags and Lowmead 3 car winch challenge as well as a daily but anyways I am trying to find out all bout these engines from B series up. Cheers. He did mild mods; and it was fine. He did sell it with 230,000kms so I know it was fine for at least 40,000kms LOLLike others have said though...be prepared to have spare cash (or access to it)...for the "just in case sh*t breaks" scenario I.e. not 100% on how well the gearbox will go...but I think 270rwkw should be ok?BTW if you plan on getting a BF in a few years time with <100,000kms...then your doing bloody well lol my FG is well past that; but I guess you do get the odd car with stupidly low kms sometimes I.e. FIFO workers or old people.Anyway, good luck with whatever outcome you decide to go through with

I forgot... I am old.Reckon that the auto is likely to be your biggest issue in this plan and you could do the mods and spend maybe 2K+ then see yourself up for a lot more in the trans rebuild.
