Sweet as. Thanks for the info guys, this is where we will start. I have seen a lot of people making good hp on basic setups without even changing turbo.

I will run with a gtx3582r or is that to small for what we are talking about. Only staying with the slightly smaller turbo so its not laggy offroad.

My opinion would be GTX3576.

3582 is still laggy.

Won't get you to 400 on 98 though but will get you into the noise much sooner.

Search around here on Precision turbos too.

The people who spent money on them seem to think they're a magic bullet for both spool and power.

But my money would stay with proven Garrett performance until the Precisions are more common an proven their reliability.

But that's just me.

You can build some boost with the stock stall and GTX3582 so that would be okay at the track.

I spool my ute to 8psi before I let it go and that's heaps to get it moving.

But when you're four wheeling, you might want the rubber band between on and off boost to be a bit shorter.
