Not sure if this has been covered elsewhere but has anyone else noticed that in neutral the T will only rev out to 3k rpm max - hits rev limiter.

is this normal?

you know whats even weirder.

it will hit the rev limiter in P.

well its not that weird but u think it would be the same for park and neutral

yeah, noticed that as well

I dont normally rev engines to this extent in neutral (took me a year to find this out) but I had this theory that you might be able to get the turbo spinning really, really fast ie to max boost (to blow off) and with lots of inertai by a rev in neutral, then once the engine revs drop down, quickly select S and then launch off the brake after bring the revs back up to converter stall. - might not be a good idea to do this from Park?

Can someone with a manaul let us know if they also are limited to 3k rpm in neutral.
