teebone Member 183 Member For: 21y 1m 1d Location: South of Melbourne, near the sea Posted 08/02/04 01:01 AM Author Share Posted 08/02/04 01:01 AM you know whats even weirder.it will hit the rev limiter in P. well its not that weird but u think it would be the same for park and neutralyeah, noticed that as wellI dont normally rev engines to this extent in neutral (took me a year to find this out) but I had this theory that you might be able to get the turbo spinning really, really fast ie to max boost (to blow off) and with lots of inertai by a rev in neutral, then once the engine revs drop down, quickly select S and then launch off the brake after bring the revs back up to converter stall. - might not be a good idea to do this from Park?Can someone with a manaul let us know if they also are limited to 3k rpm in neutral.
