I was keen for that due to a recent issue with my pump. He has an EGT in stock. Two questions how useful are these in practice? And how hard to install the sender. I assume it will be in dump pipe and that I can't piggy back it into O2 sensor hole

I'd originally ordered a volt gauge but an EGT one rocked up. Who's fault it was? I dunno.I should have gone trans temp instead

I generally display trans temp, coolant temp, boost and intake temp but have cat temp and something else on the second page to view!I am looking for a twin gauge pod for the pillar as the angle of the gauges in the centre console of my F6X I cant see through the polycarbonate covers with sunnies on and it's just a little to far away for the small data shown... We all have trans coolers and it gets frickin hot! I know that. But if it gets too hot am I supposed to stop driving? It is a noob question as this is my first car as an automatic. I kind of assumed that Unless you get a milkshake, you just drive the zf's till they start get clunky or noisy and only then do you look at it. This is what we learn from living in hot, humid environments...It's cheap to buy a bluetooth obd dongle and monitor it on your phone or use the xcal to monitor (BT dongle is easier). Do us a favour and get us some results as I can guarantee once you monitor them it's something that you will do when heading to the drags, especially the intake temps as this along with engine and trans will tell you when the car is hurting or when it feels strong and then you'll know how many sets of lights you can toast the local dickheads at before calling it quits! I'm not sure what software is best to data log it was all a bit confusing to me. I'll have to do a bit more reading.I changed the thermostat on my old car but not on my current one. I was about to a couple of weeks back but then I read on here that it can f*ck with the tune (or something) so I chickened out. Btw can you post a bigger pic of your profile pic I wanna check out that fish. I reckon I have an almost identical pic

I fought the old girl for like 45mins with a little overhead reel/rod and I think it was 12lb braid! I'll never do that again (literally and figuratively) as it was the middle of summer with no cover and no breeze... HahaWith the Torque app you really need to pay the huge $5 fee for full access then it's easy to connect and then you need the PID's. I think it's under- "Settings" (Menu button is the bottom left button on your phone), "Manage Extra PID's/Sensors", Menu button to- "Add predefined set", select "Ford (Inc Powerstroke)"Let it scan those and I think that's it. You should create a "Vehicle profile" also with all the usual info...

It towed the boat around for over half an hour before we landed it. Towed us upstream against the tide.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
