Got them wayyyy back in 08 when I first got the ute. http://www.hubcap-tire-wheel.com/ruff-racing-r281-wheels.html Front is 19x8.5+38, rears are 19x9.5+45 (knew jacksh*t about offsets etc lol) Rears now have 20mm spacers so essentially +25 On 07/06/2017 at 12:21 PM, OZYWALKER said: Also why not roll the front? You can get a fair bit without the paint even looking like cracking. Expand Is it hard to do and what gear do you need? Never attempted it. Sydney guard rolling has a good rep. I used outwest creations, he did a good job.Fronts are no probs but if you want to do the rear you'll have to remove the spot welded brace to allow the lip to be rolled. Then you'll have to make a new brace or modify the stock one to stop the quarters flexing out when hitting bumps in the road.

Am keeping a close eye on tyresales.com.au as there are consistently good specials that come up. Fronts are already sorted - got some Michelin Pilot super sports in 255/35/19 for a good price. Now trying to make a decision on rears, was leaning towards 285/30/19 invos from st george which are decent grip at $290/ea and a known quantity. Last night saw some 295/30/19 Continental contisportcontact6 on tyresales for $324/ea, if their current 20% off special applies then $259 is bloody cheap for a high level tyre. Pretty confident standard FG guards will be fine with 285/30, depending on actual width 295 may possibly rub(?), but circumference will be pretty spot on with the fronts and like she said, extra width is awesome. Im running 285 30s ku31s atm cause cheap but on e85 tune I can lose traction at 140 on chit roads. Edited 27/11/17 10:42 AM by BAXRTUTE

Am absolutely rapt with how they look, pics don't do them justice. Ended up going with the 285/30/19 kumho PS91 on the back, cheap at $235/ea from St George tyres. Not a heap of info out there but supposed to be the next step from a ku39. Overall reviews are pretty good, seem popular overseas as a bit of a cheaper knock off of the Michelin PSS which I've got on the front, tread pattern is quite similar. Definitely doesn't look under-tyred on the 10.5 Looks like rear guards will foul, to sort it will probably trim 10-15mm off the guard edge as dan / ozywalker suggested further up. Tyre sits 15mm in from the outer edge Guard edge is 25mm wide Hey @k31th when do I get an upgrade to the 400rwkw sub forum lol
