Hi Mate,

My car is on the factory upgrade 19's.

It has monroe GT shocks, (I believe) and is sitting on SSL's are the front and SSSL's at the back.

Hopefully these pictures give you a bit of a bearing as to what the above actually looks like. Still 20mm approx over legal height here in Aus.

Hope that helps mate :spoton:

(EDIT; also no comments on how my rear tyres look too skinny... Man some fat rears would be sweeeeeet....)

Hey Blkdiamond,

Honestly is a massive improvement over stock. Sits much flatter around the bends and isn't so boaty/rolly. It's lost that 'float' that falcons have and it's tightened everything right up. I had an FG F6 before this and just the new shocks and lowering make it out handle the stock F6 hands down.

Comfort wise, it is very similar to stock, but is 'firmer' all around. At this height I don't have to crab diagonally over every speed hump at 5km/h either, although I do have to be aware of larger bumps and drops though but it's not an issue 95% of the time.

I bought the car set-up like this so I'm not aware of any issues - Tyres don't seem to be wearing too much worse than stock to be honest and no scrubbing or other drama's.

I'd consider looking at shocks either at the same time, or soon after as I understand the stock shocks don't like the extra compression...

Cheers mate and good luck!

Dan

Stock shocks with lowered springs makes for a jarring ride.

I had King ssl with stock shocks and didn't realize how much the valving was out, until I went to Monroe Sports with the ssl.

Improved comfort and performance.
