Can Somebody Please Tell Me What This Is For

Hi was wondering what this weird looking plug thing is for

its in the intercooler pipe

the one near the battery

I only just bought this 03 xr6t and don't know alot about them yet

Its connected to the ecu as its a factory item

Ok well mine is not connected neither is the boost solenoid

And I can not find the plugs for either of them

That's a worry. Do you have a boost gauge?

Looks like it corroded away like the rest of the car. The wire will be in that general area.

No it doesn't have a boost gauge

The wires are not there buddy

I've pulled the intercooler pipes of at the cross over and looked everywhere for them

I'm pretty sure (without checking) that there is a loom that runs through that section to the horn (and various other bits and pieces) and the plug for that boost sesor which was/is bolted there to the under battery pipe, so unless it's been ripped off then it'll be around the area under the battery or underneath the headlight somewhere.
