Hi everyone,

I'm new to turbo cars but am fairly sure that there is a leak due to one bolt missing as evident in the photos attached. Guessing it's the bolt going from rear housing..?

What effects does this have? Power? Economy?

How hard is it to fix this DIY and how much of a job is it?

Any help is appreciated

Painful spot to lose a stud, you may be able remove nut from another stud and size it up at a fastener shop or go to Ford. put it up on car stands and get your hands dirty. use high temp Loctite and let it set overnight. All the nuts on turbo, manifold, need to be inspected regulary. Its not uncommon to lose bolts on exhaust side, these parts glow. It wont cost you that much I imagine.
