Ba Brakes

Ok I have searched and searched but can't find a definitive answer. I have an XR6T BAII, and I am looking to replace the front brake rotors and was curious to know if the brakes differ from the N/A XR or the XT or whatever (without the upgrade pack). What are all the BA brake specs?? I have found a set of Brembo Slotted Discs and pads but they just say BA, BF, FG nothing about XR or XR6T.

Sorry, if you can understand my rambling I'd love some clarification

Cheers in advance

Jamo

Have you got brembo brakes if not then I think they will not fit..

If they are the same as the xr8 the fronts would be 298mil and you can get t2's cheap and they work well.

Unless you have Brembo already on the car that will be fine if you DO NOT, dont bother will no fit.

XT brakes I think are small that the XR N/A and the XR N/A are small again to the XRT.

Like Biz said T2's are cheap these days but spend a little extra and get the T3's worth ever cent. only with good set a pads.

They look like standard brake rotors with brembo logo - but they do look like they're compatible with standard xr brake setup

Personally I'd go with DBA t2 or t3, I've got t3 on the front and t2 on the rear and it's amazingly better.

edit, that's assuming you have the stock brake setup (298mm front rotors), I.e. the premium brake option wasn't chosen when the vehicle was bought.

Fakes!!!

Brembo's

Hate to say it but dont be a JEW when it come to safety. Do you have kids? Would you put the kids in the car with cheap/fake brakes? Just because it says brembo doesnt mean theyre brembos.

I know we alllike to save on money and get the best bang for buck but sometime we just need to spend the money and I dont think anyone would put a price on safety.
