I've seen many of them both mounted internally and externally, they all make more noise than the alternatives.I never said anything about E85. But there is proof that their are better pumps out there (I'm not talking surge vs intank). Given the intake, spool noise and exhaust, I can hardly hear the pump. But I can just and I like it, because if it dies I will know immediately.I like that feature, many have had pumps die and have not known straight away.
