The cooler would be tiny as f*ck wouldn't it?

Im sure the air flow would be better through the front too...if you want max airflow to radiator...I think tube and fin is whats required?

I will wait til someone more mechanically minded can chime in!

It's a thought I've had while I'm on site. Noway for me to look at clearances etc till I get home. Search has come up with nothing but doesn't mean nobody's ever done it.

I'm personally doing a NA + T with a 350K old motor so every little bit can help. The Likelyhood is that I'll stick with all the factory plumbing if it looks too hard.

I'm sticking with the NA gearbox to start with so 250kw seems to be the max people have taken that to, no need to reinvent the wheel at that power level.

I see no benefits of a SMIC at all? The coolers don't interfere with radiator airflow to any real measurable effect... I personally drive my car daily with a PW stage 2 cooler with over 400rwkw in traffic, hot days, cold days. Track days with no overheating issues... Not to mention there is minimal room or Airflow in the bumper, there's only realky English room for a decent tranny cooler and fan

I'm not suggesting a side mounted intercooler

But not on a hot day you don't.

These cars don't keep temps under control at the track on a hot day without a bunch of cooling aids.

Just stating my experience, wakefield park raceway, I was doing 10-13 lap stints and didn't have an issue.. Yes it was a cooler day and I was on e85 so that probably helped... But even in stop start traffic on a hot day it has always been fine..
