Heard mixed reviews. Does it really kill the box/input shaft that easily? Any other info would help

It shifts pretty hard even with normal cruising. Feels good under wot though with the quick shifts. But if its going to have an adverse effect on the box ill get rid of it. I have been in other cars that were sweet with zf tune it all depends how good your tuner is

First to second is hard at low revs but everything else feels sweet.

They can break input shafts but depends on the tune and what power level you're at

Would returning it to standard really make a big difference on the life of the gearbox even if the zf tune was good? Tbh I dont know how a standard zf even feels as ive always had manuals and the zfs ive driven have always been tuned.

Zf tune generally prolongs the life of the clutch's, but risk snapping shafts
