Running a tremec 5 speed that came with the turbo falcon, I really wanna stay with a manual, took me long enough to find a cheap one. And yep that cylinder is just on the other side of the passenger foot well, still pretty confused about it so if someone knows what its for, do tell! Gonna put the motor in this weekend hopefully, then I can check all the electrics and so on. Really getting to the pointy end of now, cant wait!got no idea what that tank is . that is under the passenger side front guard ? near the fire wall . Any ideas?Possibilities: Starter motor or neutral switch. Each one might respond with the appropriate tapping with a hammer (ie gentle on the neutral switch). I gave them a good clean, and same with the starter terminals. It really seems like an electrical issue. The car had an aftermarket alarm system installed that I removed just by cutting all the wires connected to it, probably not the best idea in hindsight. Ill check all the grounds, fuses and connections again see if that helps. Theres also this plug here which im not sure of.But im pretty sure it wasnt connected to anything in the original car. Theres also these 2 in the headlight loom, which im not sure of. Really wanna get this thing going now, its been a long time coming, would really appreciate any help guys

Not required for the turbo.Extra wires appear to be for a bonnet switch for the alarm.Do you have/know how to use a volt meter? Before you go belting anything with a hammer remove the solenoid wire from the starter (the small wire) and check for battery voltage between it and earth when the key is in the start position..There's multiple reasons why the car won't crank and considering the car is a conversion you going to need to work threw each one but start but checking the an actual start signal to the starter.Do you have a wiring diagram?

I will get a hold of a voltmeter today and check the starter, will post here with the result. Pretty sure youre right about the wires near the bonnet being for the alarm too. I dont have a wiring diagram unfortunately, is it pretty easy to get one off the net?
