I am trying to find any engine internal differences of a G6 compared to a XR6T, and I can't seem to see any , am I missing something, I have looked on the forum without success , I have a very low k G6 that I am thinking of bolting on a turbo to bring the G6 up to about 300kw , I like the car but it needs a bit of go would appreciate your views..

My advice,sell the G6 and buy a G6Et,they aren't too expensive. I've spent a fortune on my car but I'm not up with all the technical stuff as much as some guys,but......by the time you get an intercooler,turbo,exhaust etc etc etc(plus,I'm not positive but I think the compression or something something(very technical...im not a mechanic)is not set up for a turbo. By the time you spend a heap of cash and even more time and a lot of dramas it would be better to have the real deal,XR6t or G6Et. Some one else will explain it better than me....I hope. Good luck.

n/a six has higher compression and different valves to the turbo engine.
