I feel for you guys, I really do. I am not an apple fan and I hate their products, especially phones.

I am in the IT department at work and I get the task of updating the IOS.

The one thing I always do is backup first!!! then update the IOS.

Sorry to hear that you lost the 250 photos. something that may be backed up on the icloud?

So they are there somewhere. Have you connected the iphone to a pc, to see if you can access the files through the my computer icon or even the windows explorer option?

You may still have hope.

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaattteeeee

Don't do that. Facesucks resizes your images. If you have iTunes on your pc, make sure it is off when you plug it in.

If ITunes starts up every time when you plug in the phone, then you need to (make sure you don't have the phone plugged in) open iTunes and then turn the setting off to make sure it does not start when you plug the phone in.

Once you have done that, you can plug in the phone and gain access to the onboard data like a flash drive, that is where all your photos are in raw format.

Do you have a second computer without iTunes?

Or ask a mate to use his pc(make sure there is no iTunes on there). plug in the iphone and then grab all the photos.

Fark man, it is at times like this, I wish we were in the same city.

Surely there is someone in Sydney that does IT that can help you out, that is a member of this forum. Come on guys, where is the forum spirit in SYDNEY!!!!!!

you do realise that you don't need to run iTunes on a computer to access the photo's right?

Anyways you got your photo's back so all good.

Oh yeah. Should just be able to upload once I plug the usb in on any comp.

Any way. 8.1 does not solve the problem with the connectivity in the fg

The below link should help you deauthorize any old pc's you have had in the past, you are allowed 5 computers at a time.
