I'm a red p plater but my dad has a business in his name, if I apply for an exception for an fg xr6 turbo is it likely that I will get it if my reason is that it has a high and capable towing capacity, high ancap safety rating etc. and say that it is for work purposes?

Also can I apply for an exemption without already having a car?

Thanks

As stated above, depends on the state laws...

But mate no matter how good a driver you are, those first couple years in an under powered car will teach you alot! Just get an xr6, they have the same about of power as an old school V8 anyway
