Hi Stef,

by Press Meter does that do oil pressure? and do the gauges/pod come with everything needed to fit? or are additional components required?

and what sort of money is involved in colour coding?

I'm sure I speak for all members, but those discounts are AWESOME!

Having not purchased a guage since I was 17 (over 20 years ago), which gauge besides boost would be the next most useful one?

Also what sort of gauges are they (brand) and would there be cheaper gauges which would also fit the pod and do a similar job for a lower price?

Thanks Geea. :ta:

Hi mattson,

The pod and gauges will come with everything required for simple fitment. The press gauge will do oil or fuel pressure. I expect the colour coding will add $20-$30 to the price of the pod. The screw holes will have colour coded plastic caps that will fit pretty flush with the surface of the pod.

geea> Exhaust temp (downstream from the turbo) is a good one to have. Exhaust temp upstream from the turbo is even better as you can see if dangerously high temps are residing in the manifold close to the valves, which are the first thing to suffer damage if too much restriction is present in the exhaust system for the whatever currently used boost level may be.

Without color coding what color is the pod? Would the pod be color coded to the dash top or the same color as the panel it replaces?

Thanks Geea.

The pod is black in standard trim, I am getting 2 pods colour coded, one to suit the dash colour and one to suit the colour of the panel it replaces. I will post both pictures on Monday once this is completed. I have the pod in the photo which is textured as well as one that has a smooth finish.
