Also the heat exchanger is really for cold conditions and starts isn't it? That setup will see the box around ect temps anyway, start giving it a really hard time and temps will get high.It does say somewhere in the zf service procedure the box must get to 70 degrees, its not the fluid level check, maybe on the test drive? bjc Donating Members 2,823 Member For: 21y 3m 10d Gender: Male Location: Townsville Posted 16/10/14 01:38 AM Share Posted 16/10/14 01:38 AM I used a B&M Supercooler on my BA Turbs which was in the same position as Biz's and it was on there for years without a fan and no problems with the 4sp auto still hitting hard after 7yrs or so.From what I witnessed though the oil in the 4sp does only flow through at a low-ish speed so unless the ZF squirts out at high pressure I can't see a problem but that is why I have those two dicky OBD2 gauges to monitor the temps of everything... 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
